Combined Federal campaign
For more than five decades, the U.S. government has sponsored the Combined Federal Campaign - the world's largest workplace fundraising drive. Over this time, federal employees have donated more than $8 billion.
Federal employees choose the charities they wish to support from a list of charities that have submitted applications and been deemed qualified by CFC staff. Employees may give once or request that a specific amount be withheld from their paychecks throughout the following year. The overwhelming majority of employees elect the ongoing payroll deduction program.
Facilitating participation in the CFC is a priority for Heart & Health Charities. We work with eligible charities to ensure that they meet the CFC’s standards of fiscal accountability, governance, and programmatic impact. These standards are some of the most rigorous in the giving community and thus provide the basis for admission to Heart & Health Charities.
We are the only federation in the CFC with a focus on cardiovascular health. We work with members to prepare their CFC applications, serve as primary liaison to the CFC, and process all payments. This saves our members significant time and resources.
